Tuna Tart

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 20 g butter
  • Sesame seeds
  • 250 g canned tuna
  • 1 large cucumber
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons soft cream cheese
  • 1 bunch chives
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  1. 1

Turn a non-springform tart tin upside down and drape the puff pastry over the base. Prick with a fork, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes until golden and crisp.

  2. 2

For the filling, flake the tuna with a fork and mix it with the cream cheese, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon zest and finely chopped chives.

  3. 3

Once the tart base is firm and cooled slightly, fill it with alternating layers of the tuna mixture and paper-thin cucumber slices (cut with a mandoline).

  4. 4

Finish with a scattering of lemon zest, chives and a few sesame seeds. Add edible flowers if you wish.
